![]() We used our backhoe to pull the engine gearcase off our 9610 combine. Not to mention how useful the front bucket is. We bought a ragged out Ford 655D several years back and even now that we have the trackhoe we still have jobs that it's better suited for. As a first purchase I like them better because of the versatility and you can drive them wherever you need to. Why not a skid steer? I've dug up plenty of leaks with one, plus it would probably handle the hog waterer demo, plus a lot more that a mini x just won't do. Unit works great as a hoist for projects also. I would like to have a bigger one that can still be hauled on my 14,000# trailer but will keep this one for awhile. Mine is not too big to be hauled on my tilt bed trailer also. The 331 has the x-change for easier switching from digging bucket to grading bucket also. The cab with air conditioning ande heater makes it a nice work area. My old open station was not used as much since if it the weather was bad for some field work - it was not fun to be in the open station doing some work. I like the 331 better since it has a cab. They were rental units bought through the local Bobcat dealer. I bought a used Bobcat 325 a number of years ago. Rdo rents them by week/month, not a bad option to get started You know you have done something when you have done that. I remeber digging old waterlines by hand several times. Probably one off those things I cant do with out. it will fit on a normal skid steer trailer Have a Kubota 121-3 with 5000 hrs on it and no problems other than i have the undercarriage wore out. Transporting is only bad feature, needs a wide detatch trailer or lots of time at 2mph to move. converting grass waterways to tile, cleaning up fencerows, trees from edge of ponds. I have added over 350 hours to the hour meter this past year. I bought a trackhoe a year ago-40000# unit. Also have a old hog waterer I need to remove. Are you pleased with what yours will do? I got a gas line underground that has a leak at a fitting. I am sure I cant afford one but anybody have any brand prefences you like?. They look so handy an easy to move around. Mini excavators Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1 Which was like nothing there on it.You are logged in as a guest. I drained the old hydraulic fluid out and added new per manual. The hydraulics on arm and bucket seam very weak. So what should my next move be to find this problem?īut here is my problem. Now I’ve got it running and working slowly replacing hoses and repacking cylinders.īut here is my problem. It was a Isuzu 3LD1 3 cylinder which is now discontinued After many calls and hours of searching I found parts to rebuild it. Checked it out and come to find out pumps were fine but it had only 150-160 compression so motor was bad. She wanted to see it running again as her late husband loved that little thing. ![]() ![]() Only one thing in agreement is I’d never sell it to anyone else. One day she came to me and offered me the excavator that I’d been wanting to see if I could fix it. I continued to help her out with things and never except any money. Well some years later he became very sick and I’d brush hog his property and help the wife out around the farm. So he always asked me to check things out and see if I could fix them. He knew I could work on things and fix them. Back story: it was in a pasture for many years. Im new to the site and this is my first post.
